1. Tree Trails Adventures – Mystic

Tree Trails Adventures is one of the best spots to zipline in CT. Located in Mystic, the tree adventure course is a two-hour experience that includes rope bridges, zip lines, and swings.

They give you all the safety equipment and instructions you need to have a memorable adventure. This park is perfect for team building, special events, and family fun. You’re able to just walk in and jump on the course, however, Tree Trail Adventures recommends making a reservation.

2. Brownstone Adventure Sports Park – Portland

Brownstone Adventure Sports Park is a great place for zip-lining in the central part of the state. This adventure center has a number of fun outdoor activities, including rock climbing, zip lining, swimming, hiking, and cliff jumping.

The 11 zip lines here are unique in that all of them slide into the water. Because of that, this ziplining park is seasonal.

3. The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum – Bridgeport

The Adventure Park at the Discovery Museum is another popular spot to go zip lining in Connecticut. They have 14 trails spanning 5 acres with over 186 treetop platforms connected by 35 ziplines.

Aside from the zip-line, there are also other obstacles like ladders and floating bridges. The course is rated by difficulty, so you’re able to choose what path to take while progressing through the zip-lines at your own pace.

4. Empower Leadership – South Windsor

Empower Leadership is a highly-rated spot to go zip lining in CT. They have 9 acres of zip lines that span 4 difficulty levels. Plus, there are other obstacles at the aerial adventure park like balance cable bridges.

Guests of all ages can zipline here but the longest zipline (it’s over 450 feet long) is reserved for guests ages 12+ (younger kids can climb as well, but must be accompanied by an adult).

5. The Adventure Park at Storrs – Storrs

The Adventure Park at Storrs is one more zipline in Connecticut. This aerial park features rope courses, zip lines, and climbing challenges that twist and turn through the surrounding scenery.

This zip line park is perfect for birthday parties and family events. There’s something to do here for kids as young as 3 at The Adventure Park, but you must be at least 7 years of age to get on the treetop trails.

6. Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort – Middlefield

Powder Ridge Mountain Park & Resort isn’t only just a ski resort, but it’s also home to one of Connecticut’s top ziplines. The adventure park has long-run dual zip lines that provide a great view of the mountain and an exhilarating experience during the summer.

The ziplines are set up so that you can race your friends down the mountain at high speed. Plus, there’s synthetic tubing at Powder Ridge which is really cool.

7. HighFlyer Zipline at Foxwoods – Mashantucket

Foxwoods Resort Casino is another place with zip lines in Connecticut. The zipline launches you off the rooftop of The Fox Tower, which is 350 feet off the ground. As you fly 60 mph above the treeline, the views are incredible.

The HighFlyer Zipline at Foxwoods is the largest zipline in Connecticut making for an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it.

8. It Adventure Ropes Course – New Haven, CT

It Adventure Ropes Course is the final place with zip lines in CT. Located inside Jordan’s Furniture in New Haven (which is one of the best furniture stores in Connecticut), this is the world’s largest indoor ropes course. There are over 100 adrenaline-pumping challenges, including rope ladders, swinging beams, rope bridges, and zip lines.

The staff at It Adventure make sure you’re equipped with full-body harnesses so that you’re safe at all times as you climb the course. There’s also a mini-ziplining area for smaller kids who don’t meet the height requirements for the main course.
