Over the past week, I ate out at all of the top Old Lyme restaurants to see which ones served the best food. So without further ado, these are the best restaurants in Old Lyme, CT.

1. The Hangry Goose
The Hangry Goose is among Old Lyme’s best restaurants. This spot is known for its delicious breakfast and lunch specials.
They offer a combination of sandwiches, wraps, and burgers, along with breakfast classics like pancakes, eggs benedict, waffles, and French toast.
The restaurant is open from 7 AM to 2:30 PM on most days. Plus, The Hangry Goose offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

2. Teddy’s Old Lyme Pizza Palace
Teddy’s Old Lyme Pizza Palace is another one of the top restaurants in Old Lyme, Connecticut. It’s one of the best places to grab a slice of pizza in the area.
Their menu features all of the traditional toppings, plus a few specialty pies like steak, Hawaiian, buffalo chicken, and veggie. The appetizers are pretty good as well.
This shoreline pizza joint is open from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM every day except for Monday.

The Old Lyme Inn is one of the top boutique hotels in Connecticut, but it also has an amazing restaurant. This place is open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch serving elegant New England fare.
Some of my favorite entrees here include penne alla vodka, sriracha glazed salmon, grilled swordfish, pulled pork, and grilled cheese.
Just be aware that lunch is only served Wednesday to Saturday and dinner is only available on Friday and Saturday.

5. Hallmark Drive In
The Hallmark Drive In is a popular ice cream shop that overlooks Long Island Sound. They serve a number of frozen treats in a variety of unique flavors like chocolate chip, cookie dough, and peanut butter to name a few.
They also serve other foods like burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, and some seafood. I really enjoyed the lobster rolls at The Hallmark Drive In.
This Old Lyme restaurant is only open Thursday through Sunday in the afternoon.
