If you’re looking to visit a hookah lounge in Connecticut, you’ll be happy to know that there are plenty of options. However, it can be difficult to pick the right one.

So, I tried all of the most popular hookah bars in the state to see which ones are the best. After a couple of weeks of testing, I have determined that these are the best hookah lounges in CT.

Top Hookah Lounges in Connecticut

1. Olive Tree Hookah Lounge

Olive Tree Hookah Lounge is one of the best hookah bars in CT. They have 18 shisha flavors, plus an additional 8 varieties of CBD shisha. You can order flavors like passion mango ice, gum mint, double apple, and watermelon ice.

This hookah lounge is very clean since they use disposable tips and hoses on all of their hookahs. However, you must be at least 21 years old to enter Olive Tree Hookah Lounge, and there’s a strictly enforced dress code. There’s no bar but they allow you to bring your own beer, wine, and mixed drinks.

2. Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan

Shish Kebab House of Afghanistan is one of the top hookah lounges in Connecticut. It’s a restaurant downstairs, but if you go upstairs, you’ll find the hookah room. The menu has plenty of flavors, including fruit tops.

This place has a friendly atmosphere and great service. There’s no alcohol available, due to Connecticut state laws, but you can order non-alcoholic drinks. Overall, the hookah is a bit pricey but worth the trip (the food is pretty good too).

  • Address: 36 LaSalle Rd, West Hartford, CT

3. 1001 Arabian Nights Lounge

1001 Arabian Nights Lounge is another one of Connecticut’s hookah bars found in West Hartford. Again, this is a hookah lounge that also doubles as a restaurant, so you’re able to eat some good food here as you smoke.

There’s a wide variety of hookah flavors available, plus there’s usually a live DJ. The hookah room itself is quite comfortable, making for an enjoyable hookah experience.

  • Address: 134 Park Road Side Entrance, West Hartford, CT

4. Fire & Coal Hookah Cafe

Fire & Coal Hookah Cafe is located on New Britain Avenue in Hartford. This is a newer hookah lounge in CT, but it gets rave reviews online.

The bar has smooth hookah in a range of flavors, along with good music. The staff is super friendly as well, making for a very relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend checking them out if you live in the Hartford area.

  • Address: 21 New Britain Ave, Hartford, CT

5. Blue Moon VIP Hookah Lounge

Blue Moon VIP Hookah Lounge is another one of the hookah bars in the state. Found in Manchester, Blue Moon offers hookah and a calm vibe.

The lounge is open from 6:30 pm to 3 am on most nights, often with a live DJ (although there weren’t a lot of people here when I visited). If you plan on visiting, just know that they are closed on Tuesdays.

  • Address: 397C Broad St, Manchester, CT

6. Euphoria Cigar and Hookah Lounge

Euphoria Cigar and Hookah Lounge is one of the smaller hookah bars in Connecticut. Located in Fairfield, this spot is largely just a tobacco shop that also has a hookah lounge in the back.

If you live in the area, it’s a great spot to pick up vape and smoking equipment. There’s an excellent selection of accessories as well.

  • Address: 1563 Black Rock Turnpike #1565, Fairfield, CT
