Events are held 3 or 4 times a week, and tickets are generally in the $20-$40 range depending on the comedian. Most shows are 21+ unless the event specifically states it’s for an 18+ crowd.

2. Playhouse on Park – West Hartford, CT

This is an extremely large theater, so there are plenty of seats available (although they can sell out relatively quickly). Tickets can cost anywhere from $30 to nearly $100 depending on the comedian.

Fairfield Comedy Club is one of CT’s new comedy clubs. You can find the club right off I-95 down in Fairfield. This is quickly becoming one of the best places to see live comedy in Connecticut.
They host performances from CT’s and NYC’s best standups every Friday and Saturday night. The club doesn’t sell drinks, but they are BYOB. You can access tickets for only about $25 a person.

8. Sea Tea Improv – Hartford, CT
The Sea Tea Improv is a fantastic place to see original comedy shows in CT. The club performs improv, sketches, and stand-up comedy, typically on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. Tickets for guests are only $5 or $10 each.
In addition to comedy shows, the Sea Tea Improv also teaches classes. The instructors here have been trained at some of America’s top comedy institutions, so they’ve done hundreds of shows. Whether you’re looking to hear some jokes or take a workshop, this is an excellent comedy club.

The Elbow Room is a good spot to hear some comedy in West Hartford. This place is located near all the bars on Farmington Avenue and often hosts comedy shows and open mics.
